“ Lamar Stevens Joins Memphis Grizzlies: Star Athlete Signs on the Dotted Line for Game-Changing Season Ahead!”…..
The Memphis Grizzlies are expected to sign Lamar Stevens to a contract through the remainder of the season, a source with direct knowledge told The Commercial Appeal on Wednesday. Stevens, a fifth-year forward out of Penn State, was originally signed to a 10-day contract on Feb. 21. Once that deal expired, Memphis signed Stevens to a second 10-day contract on March 3.
NBA teams are allowed to sign players to a maximum of two 10-day deals in a season. In six appearances this season, Memphis saw enough to keep Stevens around through the end of the season. He made his biggest impact in Monday’s 120-118 win against the Phoenix Suns. Stevens finished that game with 13 points and a career-high four made 3-pointers.
