Just In:Tennessee football landes four-star cornerback Onis Konanbanny, an international athlete who moved to the United States
In the 2025 recruiting class, Tennessee football selects four-star wide receiver Onis Konanbanny.
Born in France, Konanbanny spent his early years there before moving to London and then the United States. His parents are from Ivory Coast, but he committed to the Vols on Friday, joining what is already UT’s top-ranked recruiting class since 2015.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Konanbanny is starting his senior year at Columbia, South Carolina’s Heathwood Hall Episcopal School.
Konanbanny is ranked the No. 28 cornerback and No. 302 player overall in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports Composite. Four cornerbacks are committed to Tennessee in the 2025 class, but Konanbanny is the highest rated. Konanbanny chose Tennessee over LSU, North Carolina, Florida State and Utah. He received scholarship offers from more than 40 schools.
