“Jeff Lynne Shocks Fans With Surprise Album Drop:Get Ready For a Rockabilly Revolution!
Francis Rossi says he thinks Status Quo will end their legendary six-decade career once they play their last tour date in 2024.
The renowned rock group will give their final performance of the year on Friday, August 23, at Taunton Vivary Park. They are presently touring Europe, doing headline gigs and festivals.
“I do not think we will go again,” the legendary rock star, 75, said. It is also the final tour for the remaining members of the band. I simply can not see us engaging in that behavior again.
Rossi continued by explaining that he did not want to refer to the 2024 journey as a farewell tour because Status Quo returned in 1985, a year after their last End of an Era Tour.
Rossi stated to The Mirror, “I did not want to put this current tour out, stating it is the last one ever.” “It is a whole other f—ing story, but I did it once and was then forced to come back.
“I do not think so, but who knows? They might give a ton of money to do the Quo again. To be honest, I do not think it will stay forever, but I just do not see it happening.
Rossi gave an explanation for Quo’s decision to end the band, citing physical strain as the reason: “It is f—ing hurting this time, physically.”
