Jack Lambert Expline Why he and Lisa Harbison decided to separate after 45 years of marriage…… 👇👇
During his weekly radio show appearance on Thursday, Nick Saban related a story about his playing days at Kent State, when the team would provide protection for local events. At one of those performances, something happened that contributed to the transformation of future NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Jack Lambert into an All-American.
By handling concert security, football players may earn $50 and receive a complimentary performance. An object thrown at Rolling Stones lead vocalist Mick Jagger was knocked down by Bob Bender, the team’s middle linebacker at the time, who was close to the stage.
“About 20 of us on the football team went to the Rolling Stones concert in Cleveland, but you were security. You stand on a stage and you stand on the mixer or whatever. You get 50 bucks and you get to see the show free. I mean, it was like the best deal in town,” Saban explained. “Jack Lambert was a defensive end on our team and he was entering his junior year, and we had this guy named Bob Bender who was the middle linebacker,” Saban said.
