Indiana women’s basketball guard Sydney Parrish returns to lineup from injury…..
Sydney Parrish, the standout senior guard for the Indiana Hoosiers, has been sidelined for the past five games due to a knee injury sustained during the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in November. However, he made a comeback this past weekend, helping the Hoosiers defeat Oakland 90-55.
Head coach Teri Moren and her Indiana Hoosiers women’s basketball team moved on to beat Oakland in a blowout win at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
It was the Hoosiers’ final non conference game before heading into Big Ten conference play and their last hone game of the 2024 calendar year, with their next home game not until January 4th when they take on the No. 1 ranked UCLA Bruins.
In 19 minutes of play, Parrish finished with 11 points, 4 of 8 from the field, 3 of 5 from 3-point range, and 7 rebounds.
Parrish will now get six days to rest before her team’s next game on Dec. 28 against the Wisconsin Badgers at Assembly Hall.
It seems as if Indiana has found their rhythm together this past month, as it has won five straight games and stands at 9-3 on the season. The winning streak will be put to the test with Wisconsin, UCLA, Northwestern and Iowa as their next four games in the next 30 days.
