Because I want the Tennessee Vols to win big, I chose them over Nebraska and Ohio State.
Douglas Utu, a 5-star OT in 2025, selects Tennessee football
Tennessee further bolstered the future of its offensive line on Monday. The Vols received the commitment of five-star offensive Douglas Utu on Monday, boosting Tennessee’s 2025 class up to No. 14 nationally and sixth in the SEC in the Rivals rankings.
After considering numerous offers from schools including Ohio State, Alabama, and Michigan, Utu chose the Vols over Nebraska.
Utu participated in an official visit last weekend before to committing, making him one of several well-known prospects who have visited Tennessee in recent weeks.
The 6-foot-6, 301-pound Utu, who is starting his senior year at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, is ranked first in Nevada, second at his position, and eighth overall in the 2025 class.
He joins three-stars Antonio Ogumoro and Nic Moore as Tennessee’s third offensive lineman and 14th commitment overall.
Prepare for more victories because I am here to keep my word.
