HOT DEAL AGAIN:Philadelphia Eagles Banking on Super Bowl Payoff by Signing Giants CB Adoree Jackson
The Titans released Jackson, a 2017 first-round selection out of USC, after he accumulated injuries and could not live up to his draft pedigree. After being fired, he signed with the Giants in 2021. He was the Giants’ CB1 at first, but as he aged and sustained injuries, his abilities deteriorated. During his four seasons in New York, he recorded two interceptions and three pass breakups while playing in 51 games, 41 of which he started.
When the Giants added Paulson Adebo from the Saints, Jackson, who started opposite Deonte Banks the previous season, had no chance of returning.
After Barkley was cut by the Giants in 2022, the Eagles also acquired cornerback James Bradberry. Bradberry was just released by Philadelphia.
