In an interview with “Superillu,” Andrea Berg was asked if she was aware that Helene Fischer was frequently mentioned: Helene Fischer responded, “Nein, im Gegenteil,” with a startling statement: “Weg zu beobachten tut mir gut, es macht mich ein bisschen stolz.” The singer also gave an explanation for her pride, saying that she and Wolfgang Petry had “populärer gemacht, (…) die ersten riesigen Konzerte gegeben” when they had reunited with the hit song in the 1990s. In light of this, Andrea Berg probably also sees herself as Helene Fischer’s guide, who was able to capitalize on the increased attention.
