The couple tied the knot at the family’s private monastery on the Dalmatian Coast, a source close to the actress told People. The Dalmatian Coast is in Croatia, where her parents are from. The star grew up in Canada. The couple shared a black-and-white image of their engagement ring shortly after saying “I do.”
She was rumored to be dating her Castle co-star Nathan Fillion, whose character got married on the show. But according to Stanik, the couple was never a couple. However, her latest Instagram post wasn’t about her wedding, but about her series Castle, which recently wrapped production on its seventh season.
It’s not known if the police series will get an eighth season. Katic told TV Line that he wouldn’t mind if the show ended if necessary. “I think if the characters are done and there’s nothing left to develop creatively, it’s better to stop when you’re at the top,” the beauty said. “So to me, the art is more important than the finances. As long as we’re creating something that’s compelling and has room to grow, we’re ready.”
