Good News:OU softball signee Sophia Bordi reclassifies to join Sooners for 2025 season
Bordi is so talented that she might be considered one of the top 20 players in the class of 2024 or 2025. At the moment, she is ranked higher than the 2024 class’s No. 16 player.
In addition to winning two state championships and being named tournament MVP, Bordi is a two-time Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year. Bordi played her travel ball with OC Batbusters Stith, just like many of the Sooners who came before her, including as graduate assistant Tiare Jennings and new teammate Ailana Agbayani.
Softball America ranked OU’s 2024 recruiting class third nationally before to Bordi’s reclassification. Oklahoma recently won the national championship for the fourth time in a row.
