Good News:4-star LB Jarcoby Hopson commits to Ole Miss Rebels For a Great 2025!!
Horn Lake, Mississippi Jarcoby Hopson, a four-star linebacker for the Lake Cormorants, has committed to Ole Miss. Among other schools, he considered Miami, Texas, Auburn, Mississippi State, and the Rebels.
The On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that uses all four main recruiting media companies, ranks Hopson as the seventh-best player in Mississippi and the 171st overall prospect and 20th LB in the 2025 cycle.
Over the course of his recruitment, the 6-foot-1.5, 205-pound player has visited Oxford more than ten times, including several game visits last autumn and numerous trips this spring, including two this month.
Last cycle, the Rebels signed four-star defensive lineman Kamarion Franklin from the Lake Cormorants, and in 2025, they have committed to another top recruit from the same school. Janorris, Hopson’s older brother, committed to Ole Miss for the 2024 class.
With Hopson on board, Ole Miss now has five commitments for the 2025 cycle. He is now the third Mississippian to join the ranks of Gautier native Dillon Alfred, a four-star wide receiver, and Quitman five-star running back Akylin Dear.
