After almost forty years away, Slow Horses actor Gary Oldman will return to the stage in April 2025 to play the lead in Samuel Beckett’s renowned one-man play Krapp’s Last Tape. The performance will run for a short season at the British theater where the actor started his career in 1979.
The acclaimed Apple TV+ spy drama Slow Horses, which won an Oscar for Darkest Hour, is currently filming season 6 in London. starring Gary Oldman. From April 14 to May 17, he will portray Beckett’s well-known old-timer, who finds it difficult to listen to a cassette he recorded 39 years ago, at York Theatre Royal in North Yorkshire.
