On Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles reached an agreement with wide receiver DeVonta Smith to extend their contract by three years, through the 2028 season. The Eagles acquired Smith’s fifth-year option for the 2025 campaign as part of the trade.
Over his three seasons with the Eagles, Smith has 240 receptions for 3,178 yards and 19 touchdowns. During his four seasons with the Crimson Tide, Smith, the 2020 Heisman Trophy winner, assisted Alabama in winning two national titles.
