After multiple setbacks in the past few years, singer Andrea Berg (“Du hast mich tausendmal belogen”) has considered taking a career break. According to the 45-year-old “Reader’s Digest” magazine (January edition), the main causes of this were her parents’ fatalities as well as the departure of her father, Eugen Römer, as their discoverer and producer from the music industry.
Berg’s father had suffered a stroke and had an accident while operating his car in the spring of 2011. As “Reader’s Digest” reports, Berg’s mother suffered serious injuries in the process. Shortly thereafter, the father succumbed to lung cancer.
