‘Dallas’ finale postmortem: Producer, star talk about los….
Fans of Dallas were forced to bid farewell to a member of the Ewing family in the highly anticipated season 3 finale. To be more precise, they had to see Nicolas blowing up Christopher’s automobile while Christopher was inside. But since John Ross recently found out he had a sister, there will soon be another Ewing in the mix. It went without saying that it was an incredible way to cap off a season filled of surprises, turns, dubious cartel members, and more.
Jesse Metcalfe was unable to pick up the phone, but he did make the following announcement regarding his exit from the show: “The producers and writers wanted a season-ending stunner, in true Dallas form. Having had three fantastic years, I was eager to move on and work on new endeavors. It all came together to provide the ideal setting for startling fans and revealing that shocking revelation. I had a great time working with Warner Bros. and TNT, and I am thankful for the chance to work on Dallas. I also wish the actors and crew the best of luck!
We have an exclusive conversation with executive producer Cynthia Cidre in which she discusses losing Christopher and what is next for the survivors of this finale.
