Congratulations To Jodie Foster as She Signes a Contract worth over $30Million with….
In an interview with The Guardian, the Oscar-winning actress discussed a finding she made about certain Gen Z employees—those born between 1996 and 2010—that she has encountered.
Foster remarked, “They are incredibly unpleasant, especially in the workplace.” They say something like, ‘Well, I am not feeling it today. I will come in at 10:30 a.m.’ Or, like, I will inform them in emails that everything is grammatically wrong and that they should double-check their spelling. And they ask themselves, “Is not that kind of limiting? Why would I do that?”
As a former child actor, Foster shared some life lessons with upcoming performers, noting, “I reach out to young actors a lot.” I can not help myself. because growing up was difficult.
She stated she tries to impart knowledge that she wishes someone had given her when she was just starting out in the entertainment business.
Foster stated, “I can help them find that, which is so much more fun than being, with all the pressure behind it, the protagonist of the tale. They need to learn how to relax, how to not think about it so much, and how to come up with something that is theirs.”
Foster holds British actor Bella Ramsey, who starred in “The Last of Us,” in high regard as a Gen Zer. At the recent Women in Hollywood event hosted by Elle magazine, she requested that Ramsey introduce her.
Foster’s supporting performance in the Netflix biographical movie “Nyad” has garnered accolades.
Additionally, she is a cast member of HBO’s “True Detective,” which premieres on January 14.
