In August 2018, Walker, a three-star cornerback from Nashville, Tennessee's Ensworth High School, committed to play collegiate football at Georgia Tech. Walker redshirted and participated in three games as a freshman in 2019 with the Yellow Jackets, most notably late in the season against Georgia, ranked fourth. Walker participated in 10 games during the COVID-shortened schedule during his redshirt freshman season. He was fourth on the Georgia Tech squad with 48 tackles and earned five starts at nickel back that season. Although he recorded two forced fumbles in 10 games in 2021, Walker's stats as a redshirt sophomore were very identical to those of his redshirt freshman season....
