The Boston Globe's Adam Himmelsbach recently reported that the Celtics had acquired the $2.1 million team option for swingman Sam Hauser, who shoots 42.4 percent from three-point range, and plan to work out a contract extension with him. Last week, Wojnarowski revealed that Boston plans to sign All-NBA power forward Jayson Tatum, its finest player, to a five-year, super-max contract valued at an estimated $315 million. Wojnarowski said the Celtics inked Jrue Holiday, White's starting backcourt mate, to a four-year, $135 million contract deal toward the end of the regular season in April. Before the Celtics' eventual championship season began last summer, the team's other starters, Jaylen Brown, the MVP of the Finals, and Porzingis signed long-term contracts to remain with the team. Horford has a deal through the upcoming campaign.
