Breaking:Twins Cameron and Cayden Boozer commit to Duke Blue Devils
At Duke, the Boozer family’s legacy endures: Cayden and Cameron Boozer, twin brothers and 2025 prospects, have committed to Duke, 25 years after their father, Carlos Boozer, started playing for the Blue Devils.
After making official trips to Miami, Kentucky, and Florida last fall, the brothers decided to attend the program in Durham instead. Over the last year, those schools competed for spots, but in the end, coach Jon Scheyer and the Blue Devils prevailed.
The On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that takes into account all four of the main recruiting media organizations, ranks Cameron as the top PF in the 2025 class and the second-best prospect overall.
In contrast, Cayden is ranked as the cycle’s fourth point guard and 20th recruit. He has averaged over 14 points per game, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game during his three years at Christopher Columbus High’s varsity level.
The brothers are hoping for a unique four-peat this spring after leading their school to a state championship in each of their first three high school seasons.
