Breaking:Top 2026 recruit Malaya Majam-Finch makes pledge to Oklahoma Over Ole Miss, Michigan, Tennessee….
We waited to see who was coming to Norman after Patty Gasso sounded her catchphrase, “Go Boomer.” On Monday night, Malaya Majam-Finch, the 10th-ranked pitcher in the 2026 class and 25th overall, declared her commitment to Oklahoma.
I am thrilled to share that I have verbally committed to continue my academic and softball career at the University of Oklahoma! @OU_Softball Boomer Sooner‼️pic.twitter.com/Enw6RdgfPP
Oklahoma continues to have its footprint in California with the addition of Majam-Finch. The Sooners have a strong pipeline with the OC Batbusters organization but Majam-Finch is a product of Marty Tyson’s Tyson Angels in California.
And yes, when you see a softball pitcher with the last name as Finch it’s worth begging the question. Majam-Finch is the niece of the legendary Jennie Finch.
