BREAKING:On3’s Steve Wiltfong predicts two more flips for Michigan Football after Bryce Underwood commits…
Five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood of Belleville, Michigan, reversed his pledge from LSU on Thursday, giving Michigan football the top-ranked talent in the entire 2025 recruiting class. Given that the Wolverines are expected to trade for a number of other talents as the early signing day on December 4 draws near, that move might have started a domino effect on the trail.
Steve Wiltfong, vice president of On3 Sports, initially forecasted that Michigan would also acquire Derek Meadows, a four-star wide receiver from LSU who plays for Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Nevada. Wiltfong then added two more flip projections for the Wolverines: three-star Alex Graham of Colorado, a cornerback for Cass Tech in Detroit, and Bradley Gompers, a four-star linebacker from Duke’s Central Catholic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In the 2025 recruiting class, Gompers is ranked as the No. 4 player from the state of Pennsylvania, the No. 10 linebacker, and the No. 129 overall prospect, based On3’s Industry Rankings. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound player has been offered scholarships by more than 20 schools, including Pittsburgh, Miami, Ole Miss, and Penn State. On June 16, Gompers committed to Duke.
