Four-star Patrick Ngongba was another significant commitment for Duke basketball this week. Cooper Flagg, the best prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, committed to Duke earlier this week.
Ngongba, who is a center and ranked No. 20 in the country by 247Sports, had offers from a number of schools, including Syracuse, UConn, Kansas State, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, and Michigan.
In mid-October, he had visited UConn on official business. Ngongba’s dedication ensures Duke has the best recruiting class in the country. The Duke 2024 recruiting class also includes four-star guard Darren Harris and five-star forwards Isiah Evans and Kon Knueppel in addition to Ngongba and Flagg.
