Tevis Metcalf and TJ have committed to Michigan through the transfer portal. The two brothers move from Arkansas to Michigan. NFL wide receiver DK Metcalf is related to them.
TJ has two years of eligibility and will be a junior the following season. Metcalf played safety, dividing his 730 snaps mostly between in the box and free safety. In addition, he played 94 cornerback snaps. Last season, he recorded three interceptions, seven pass breakups, 57 tackles, and one forced fumble.
Tevis has four years of eligibility and will be a redshirt freshman. Tevis, a nickel corner, only saw 15 snaps for Arkansas in the previous campaign. Prior to their Monday commitment, the brothers recently traveled to Ann Arbor. In the winter transfer window, the Metcalfs join wide receiver Donaven McCulley.
