For a very long time, Michigan football had its sights set on a large fish, and it did not seem like it would catch it. But at last it struck the net and entered the boat.

Even though day five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis had visited Ann Arbor almost innumerable times, he continued to put off making a decision and not pull the trigger for the maize and blue. He was the center of attention for the numerous high-profile recruiting guests on his most recent visit, which took place over the weekend of March 18. When he finally made the announcement for the Wolverines, he gave Michigan football its future quarterback and possible successor to J.J. McCarthy.

Like they did in 2023 with Dante Moore, whom Jim Harbaugh offered when he was in the eighth grade, the maize and blue threw all of their eggs into the Davis basket. But since Moore ended up at UCLA, many people thought Davis may experience a same fate.

Regardless of position, Davis is ranked as the 15th best player in the 2024 class according to 247Sports’ own rankings. In addition, he is regarded as North Carolina’s top player and number two quarterback.

A gamer that does not have any trouble playing while on the go. enjoys taking chances and improvising, but is also able to set up shop in the pocket and stick to the script. Before winning MVP of the FBU Freshman All-American Bowl, he made a splash as a freshman, starting several varsity games in South Carolina’s second-highest classification.

He had some trouble staying consistent as a sophomore, but improved as a junior and guided a legendary Charlotte Providence Day club to a state championship in NCISAA Division I. He can throw a tight spiral thanks to cleaner mechanics.
