Breaking News:Ohio State football flips class of 2025 cornerback Jordyn Woods from Cincinnati
Jordyn Woods, a three-star cornerback from Cartersville, Georgia, shifted his pledge from Cincinnati to Ohio State on Monday night. “I’m home!” he tweeted on X, the network formerly known as Twitter. Prior to the Buckeyes’ increased recruitment efforts within the past month, Woods had been committed to the Bearcats since June.
Three weeks ago, the Buckeyes offered him a scholarship, and he traveled to Columbus for the team’s victory over Indiana last weekend. In addition to Devin Sanchez and Na’eem Offord, two five-star cornerbacks, Woods is the third cornerback to commit to Ohio State’s top-ranked class for 2025.
According to 247Sports, Woods is a lanky cornerback who weighs 175 pounds and is 6 feet 3 inches. He is ranked 117th in the country and 1,273rd overall in the website’s composite rankings for cornerbacks.
When the early signing period opens on December 4, the Buckeyes can start signing commits. Joey Kaufman writes for The Columbus Dispatch on Ohio State football.
