The Rothesay International grass-court tennis event has sent Leylah Fernandez of Canada to the championship match.
The Wimbledon tune-up event saw Fernandez of Laval, Quebec, overcome Madison Keys, the reigning champion, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in
Fernandez will make her sixth career final, but it will be her first on grass and her first at the WTA 500 level or higher since the U.S. Open in 2021.
Her confidence for the next Grand Slam event is only increased by defeating Keys, who is ranked 12th and a two-time Eastbourne champion.
