The Boston Celtics have made a historic announcement: they will be renovating their legendary home venue, TD Garden, for an estimated $1.3 billion. This expensive project, known as the “Legendary Transformation,” is expected to improve Boston’s standing as a top college basketball tournament location and transform the fan experience.
A thorough 157,000-square-foot expansion is part of the refurbishment, giving the arena an additional 50,000 square feet of area. The project, which covers almost all nine levels of TD Garden, was created by SCI Architects and overseen by Gilbane Building Company. Every guest will have a top-notch experience thanks to the significant improvements made to the seats, concessions, locker rooms, and hospitality spaces.
On level five, the 1928 Club, a 7,500-square-foot lounge with a dedicated chef and full kitchen, offers an exclusive space for full-season club seat holders. On level eight, the Back Row Bar offers a lively setting with large-screen televisions and seating for 50, enhancing the social atmosphere. accommodating up to 200 guests, while the main concourses on levels four and seven have been expanded by 15,000 square feet, offering modern food hall-style
Cutting Edge Technology To improve the fan experience, TD Garden is implementing state-of-the-art technologies. With more than 400 antennae, the arena now has high-density Wi-Fi, including the first-ever Wi-Fi hotspots built into the hockey boards. With the help of this infrastructure, spectators may enjoy seamless connectivity and engaging digital experiences thanks to Cisco’s Connected Stadium Wi-Fi.
The extensive renovations have not gone unnoticed.
