BREAKING: Four-Star DL Myron Charles has Flipped his Commitment from Florida State to Texas, he tells me for….
In a significant recruiting win, the Texas Longhorns defeated Florida State to acquire 4-star defensive lineman Myron Charles. One of the country’s best defensive prospects, the 6-foot-4, 295-pound senior hails from Port Charlotte, Florida. Charles, who is ranked as the No. 27 overall player in the state of Florida and the No. 26 defensive lineman in the nation, adds outstanding quality to the Longhorns’ 2025 recruiting class.
Charles is a dynamic player who can perform well on the edge and in the inside. He is well-known for his strength at the point of attack, exceptional athleticism, and short-area quickness. He is a highly sought-after defensive prospect because of his ability to dominate in close quarters and bend at the hips.
Despite his potential to play on the edge, Charles is anticipated to go to an interior position in college, where his skill set will be most utilized.
