BREAKING: 2025 ESPN Top-100 Target Lauren Jacobs Commits to Coach Yo, Ole Miss
According to ESPNW’s Top-100 recruiting rankings for the Class of 2025, 5-foot-9 guard Jacobs is presently ranked No. 89. She is now ranked as the top high school athlete in the state of South Carolina and a 4-star prospect.
During her high school career, Jacobs has won four state titles, including two at Carter Newman early on and most recently back-to-back at Heathwood Hall.
Jacobs published her ranking of the top 10 schools on August 26th, and the Rebels were among the top programs in the country.
She had planned to make more trips, but shortly after her Oxford visit, Jacobs made the decision that Ole Miss was the place she wanted to be.
With Jacobs becoming the focal point of this class, Coach Yo’s recruiting cycle gets off to a fast start. Ole Miss has now added a player listed in the ESPNW Top-100 for the second consecutive year.
Since she began playing basketball in the third grade, Jacobs developed a fondness for the sport early on. She never put the ball down after that, and her training has only gotten better.
