The cherished vocalist of Type O Negative went away almost 13 years ago, and his former bandmates have been steadfast in their assertions that Type O would never exist without Peter Steele. Even though the band disbanded when the Green Man passed away, its reputation endured as new generations of fans grew to adore its distinctive blend of goth, alternative, and doom metal.
