HEART BREAKING:Michigan football loses 4-star linebacker Branden Jennings to Maryland Instead of Michigan On the recruiting trail, Michigan football recently received some unfavorable news. At a ceremony at Sandalwood High School in Florida, four-star linebacker Branden Jennings, the fourth-highest ranked player in the Wolverines' 2021 class, declared he would be signing with Maryland rather than Michigan. According to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Jennings is ranked No. 7 among outside linebackers and No. 109 overall. Bradley Jennings, his father, won a national championship while attending Florida State. Prior to restarting his recruitment on October 12, Jennings had already committed to the Seminoles.
