Andrea Berg: So her mother lived with her in…
Unstoppable are Andrea Berg and her mother Helga. Even the mother of the Schlagersängerin resided in the same home. Thus is her mother-tochter relationship.
Andrea Berg (57) travels frequently for work because she is a well-known German Schlager singer. In private, though, she values nature and country life, as they allow them to put the stressful daily grind behind them. Andrea Berg and her husband own and operate a hotel in the Baden-Württemberg town of Aspach, which is close to Stuttgart. However, Andreas Mother Helga also resides on the Sonnenhof with her and Mann Uli Ferber.
According to Andrea Berg’s interview with the illustrated “Neue Post,” they really value this multigenerational home. “I have, for the most part, lived my entire life with my parents, with very few exceptions. Up till this day! Perhaps this is something unique to our family, the singer-songwriter continues.
The family of their man, Uli Ferber, has been living under one roof for many years. “We are twelve people living together on one land, spanning four generations,” Andrea Berg clarified.
In an interview with “Woche Heute,” the Schlagersängers describe a strained mother-tochter relationship: We have a really strong bond and are able to recount anything. Even as a teenager, I had no secrets from her. I could tell her everything, but she didn’t respond with, “Wie kannst du nur?” And most importantly, I could always be certain that she wouldn’t tell Papa about it later. Mama still resides in our home now. Therefore, every day is essentially a mother day. The opportunity to spend so much time together is truly a gift.
Mother and daughter have already experienced a number of things: After Helgas Mann died in 2011 from cancer, she herself passed away from a serious illness ten years later.
