Andrea Berg is in favor of the inclusive band…
Rems-Murr. People with disabilities and the theme of inclusion will take center stage: this is the aim of the band contest “Inclusiv,” which has brought the Rems-Murr-Kreis into existence. The competition is supported by singer Andrea Berg and her team. The project is supported by the Waiblingen Kreisparkasse. The winner band achieved a very special highlight during this process: on July 14, they will compete in the 16. Heimspiel-Kult-Open-Airs of Andrea Berg in front of over 15,000 spectators in the Aspacher Wir-machen-Druck-Arena. They will also be awarded a prize money of 10,000 euros.
The Rems-Murr-Kreis celebrates its 50th anniversary of founding in 2023. The idea to organize another event with Andrea Berg and her team on this anniversary emerged, this time with a special focus on people with disabilities and the inclusion theme (see infotext).
The “Inclusiv” band contest aims to provide a national platform for the topic of inclusion. Up until June 2nd, inclusive bands from all over Germany and the surrounding countries can register at www.band-contest-inklusiv.de with a song of their choice. All more competition information is available on the website that the organizers have set up.
“Musik binds, Musik transcends boundaries.” Das soll der “Inklusiv” Band-Contest deutlich machen. We were immediately enthralled with the idea, and as such, we heartily support her. We also look forward to receiving many fantastic applications and songs,” Andrea Berg said. The project is supported by Waiblingen’s Kreisparkasse. “As an inclusive band, we gladly support the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience on a large stage,” says Uwe Burkert, the chairman of the Waiblingen Kreisparkasse Board of Directors. Additionally, the Kreissparkasse has made an effort to publicize the nationwide competition among Sparkassen.
“It is a format that, to the best of my knowledge, has not yet been provided,” said Landrat Richard Sigel, thanking all project participants for their support, given that the competition’s idea came up rather quickly.
