November 20, 1999, was a very special day for Andrea Berg. In the ZDF hitparade, you made your solo debut with “Maybe a Traum zu viel.” The singer from Krefeld, who saw the light of the world on January 28, 1966, as Andrea Zellen, had the opportunity to premiere one of her songs with Uwe Hübner in October.
In the November issue, she argued that Patrick Lindner and the Paldauern had taken the third spot with “Maybe ein Traum zu viel” and was generally happy and satisfied. In retrospect, it is hard to believe that the well-known singer was invited to Berlin so late, as there are still songs from her earlier releases that rank among the 90s’ most popular hits to this day. Her second single is unquestionably worth listening to: “Kilimandscharo” shouldn’t be missed till it makes an appearance.
