Andrea Berg and Dieter Bohlen once more said, “Du musst erst fallen”…
Nothing separates a Titan and a Berg so easily, though. In this way, Poptitan Dieter Bohlen and Andrea Berg collaborate once more on the singer-songwriter’s latest album. In this regard, they had effectively stopped the trenching a year earlier. Helene Fischer is taking a break this year for the first time. It seems sense then, like a bad dream come true, that their longtime competitor for the Schlagerthron, Andrea Berg, would use the opportunity to release a new album. “Mosaik” is the term, and it is released on Friday.
The digital version of the album includes 16 tracks as well as two extra versions of the title song. And those who look a little closer will find something truly unique in two songs. Yes, Dieter Bohlen did have a real hand in the creation of the songs “Du musst erst fallen” and “Davon geht mein Herz nicht unter”. “It was a long, very emotional conversation in Hamburg with the Poptitan about the songs,” Berg says in an interview with “Bild” Zeitung. She continues, “Zwischen Dieter und mir steht und stand nie etwas.”
Hopefully? Do we not remember something slightly different? Bohlen finally announced to the public about a year ago that his cooperation with the 53-year-old had ended. “He wanted to free his mind to assist new artists with whom I could enjoy my work again,” the 65-year-old stated.
Berg was not really amused by this. “Sehr traurig” sei sie, dass der Produzent und Komponist “so abrupt auf diese Art” die Seite machte, erklärte sie. She also made it clear that she respected his decision to “betray something in which he no longer felt joy.” Bohlen was also trying to get the wogen to glätten right away. “It’s a heart-felt decision,” he clarified, assuring himself that “between Andrea and me, nothing bad has happened.”
Evidently, the two of them still have a heart for one another. And, most importantly, you have enjoyed seeing their collaboration again. Actually, it’s just a matter of time before Bohlen takes Vanessa Mai, the Schwiegertochter of Berg, back under his sway. Auch here hatte er einen beruflichen Laufpass gegeben nach Meinungsunterschieden über die weitere musikalische Ausrichtung nach zwei gemeinsam gebrachten Alben.
