Alexander Zverev, the tennis player, is celebrating his birthday! Congratulations!
On and off the court, Alexander Zverev is enjoying an incredible Australian Open.
The 22-year-old German is making a lot of new fans with his humorous and poignant interviews in addition to reaching the Semi-Finals of a Slam for the first time.
The fact that Zverev’s father, Alexander, is also his coach and was formerly a professional tennis player, contributes to the fact that the rising star goes by Sascha.
Zverev differs from many young athletes who spend the most of their careers being trained by their parents before switching to professional coaches. Following his victory over Stan Wawrinka in the quarterfinals of the Open, he was questioned about what it is like to still have his father in charge.
“We spend a lot of hours on the court,” he continued. I do not see him till the following day after we spend many hours together on the job site. This is the typical procedure.
However, I am not sure. It is been fantastic. Many people think I ought to find a new coach. There are many people who think I should change it up.
“However, each time I work alone with my dad, we demonstrate our ability to win significant competitions, and he has helped shape me into the tennis player I am today.
Therefore, I do not see why anything should change. I will accept it if he tells me he is exhausted, and we will get some assistance. However, I believe he will be on my squad for a very long time.
