According to reports, John Forgerty was taken to the hospital after experiencing an abrupt emergency…..
The usage of the song “Fortunate Son” by President Donald Trump at political rallies, according to singer John Fogerty, is “confounding.”
A video that was posted to the rock star’s Instagram page served as his statement.
In the video, Fogerty is seen sitting in his home studio and says, “I find it puzzling to say the least that the president has been exploiting my song, ‘Fortunate Son,’ for his political rallies.” The rocker continues by explaining that he composed the iconic Creedence Clearwater Revival song after his own military service.
He clarified, “Back then, there was still a draft, and I was extremely unhappy about the notion that individuals of privilege, or rich people or people in positions of power, could use that to evade the draft and not be put into the military.” “I wrote ‘Fortunate Son’ because I felt it incredibly disturbing that such a thing could happen.”
