Brian May, the guitarist for Queen, stated that he “may have died” after suffering a heart attack and being taken to the hospital.
The 72-year-old claimed that following what he described as a “small” heart attack earlier this month, he was “shocked” to learn that he need surgery.
The celebrity’s cardiac fright occurred just a few days after he believed he had torn his glutes in an incident while gardening.
He sent a video to Instagram explaining his most recent health issue.
He remarked, “I felt I was a really healthy guy.”
“However, it was discovered that I had three clogged arteries that may potentially obstruct my heart’s blood flow.”
After receiving three stents—tiny tubes that can prop open clogged arteries—May claims to be fully recovered.
“I feel like I am in good shape for a while because I left with a really strong heart.”
The celebrity gained notoriety earlier this month when he revealed on social media that a gardening mishap had caused him to tear a muscle in his gluteus maximus.
He was in “relentless pain” following the injury, which he subsequently found to be the result of another injury.
In the seven-minute video he uploaded, “Sheer Heart Attack,” he stated, alluding to the title of Queen’s third album, which was published in 1974.
“That is how I was diagnosed, and we believed it to be some kind of weird gardening mishap.
“Really, I had no idea that was funny. I kind of forgot about the funny things that others find funny, but in any case, that was not the case after all.
“A week later, I am still in excruciating pain. I refer to actual agony. At times I wanted to just jump. I was astounded at the discomfort. And I eventually had another MRI because others were telling me, “That is not like a torn muscle, you do not experience that amount of agony.”
However, this time, I had a lower back problem. As it turned out, we discovered that I had a severely compressed sciatic nerve, which is why I felt like someone was constantly inserting a screwdriver into my back. It hurt so much.
“That is only one side of the tale; I have since improved greatly.” However, the remainder of the tale is a little stranger and a little more startling.
“I believed that I was in excellent health. “You have excellent blood pressure and heart rate,” everyone says. And I ride a bike, eat a healthy diet, and do not eat too much fat.
“Anyway, I experienced a minor heart attack in the midst of the entire tale of the agonizing posterior.
It was not anything that was harmful to me. About forty minutes passed during which there was perspiration, arm ache, and tension in the chest.”
