Wigan defeated Wakefield Trinity in the 2022 Reserves competition Grand Final and defeated the Saints 24-0 in rainy conditions at Robin Park Arena last autumn to win the championship in each of the two years since the competition was revived following Covid.
With nine wins from their 12 games, Saints finished first in the league, one point ahead of Wigan, who had eight wins and a tie against Huddersfield Giants. This year, Saints will get to play at home. Next Sunday in the Grand Final, the Warriors will be trying to win three straight in the Reserves grade.
The Reserves Grand Final between Wigan Warriors and St Helens will begin off at 2:30 p.m., so fans who want to watch the game can enter the Totally Wicked Stadium through Turnstiles 10–14, which are located in the South Stand/South East portion of the ground.
Entry, which can be paid on the day, will cost:
- Adults – £5
- Concessions – £3
- Under 16’s – £2
