A notable addition to Nebraska’s 2025 recruiting class has been made. Nebraska was selected by Houston Kaahaaina-Torres over Michigan State, Arizona State, and California. Kaahaaina-Torres is being considered by the Huskers to play center.
Although he played offensive tackle last season and discussed the distinctions between the interior and tackle positions, On3 still ranks Kaahaaina-Torres as an IOL in their 2025 rankings.
Fighting guys by myself on the island is a novel experience for me. I played center the previous season and am now a right tackle. I think I have been picking up the method and getting the hang of it.
The June visit to Nebraska was Kaahaaina-Torres’s second trip to Lincoln. The facilities were still being built when he visited for the first time in April 2022. He witnessed a completed product on his official visit. “When I checked it out, I was blown away,” Kaahaaina-Torres remarked. It is some very amazing things. The last time I visited, it was still under construction. The last time, I had to wear a hard hat.
