Shocking Incident:Who was Andy Isaac? Detroit Lions superfan dies after 19-year cancer battle

Isaac sent his followers a heartfelt farewell message just one month before he passed away. The Athletic reports that he started writing soon after receiving a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2006. “I have finally felt the effects of having cancer since 2006.” I have ultimately lost my quality of life because of it,” he wrote.
Hospice care is what I have chosen. The past few months and years have been difficult. Hospice is where I hope to find some peace. I might record my last days in a journal.
“I have not decided yet. I am in pain and exhausted. I simply lack the strength to complete all the last-minute things I want to do because of a terrible foot infection that keeps me from walking. But I will give it a shot,” he said.
“Be kind to each other. I genuinely love you all. I hope I made even the slightest difference and that I gave you all a positive attitude on life.”
He gained a lot of recognition in the sports world over the years by interacting with other Detroit Lions, Pistons, Tigers, Red Wings, and Michigan State University fans through his humor and enthusiasm.
He wrote “for sports, for the Lions and for the Pistons and for the Tigers and for MSU and so on” in his roughly 50,000 posts since joining X in 2009.
