Congratulations:New York Giants Micheal Thomas donates $10,000 to Binghamton tackle football team
Additionally, the squad received a $10,000 donation from the New York Giants Foundation to be used for new equipment. Michael Thomas and Antoine Bethea of the New York Giants presented the contribution.
The children cheered “1, 2, 3 Giants!” as the two athletes brought them in for a huddle and signed T-shirts. Just before one in the morning on Saturday, the guys made their way back to Binghamton.
All fifth- and sixth-graders in the City of Binghamton were eligible for the trip, which was free for the players.
“Playing in an NFL stadium in front of tens of thousands of fans is a once-in-a-lifetime event for Binghamton youngsters,” Binghamton Mayor Richard David stated during a call for players earlier this month.
