Shock:4-star WR Waden Charles decommits from Miami,fans are still in shock!!

Florida’s Boynton Beach According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, Palm Beach Central’s four-star wide receiver Waden Charles has decided to leave Miami. Since his September 10 pledge to Miami, Charles had been a part of the Hurricanes’ class.

The On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that takes into account all four of the main recruiting media firms, ranks him as the 333rd overall prospect in the country, the 52nd wide receiver, and the 47th recruit from Florida in the 2025 cycle.

Earlier this month, Charles spoke on “The Five Star Flex” to discuss his recruiting with Phillip Dukes of On3. He was also interested in Florida and Florida State, two in-state institutions, in addition to Miami.

Charles remarked of FSU, “It is a terrific school, exactly like Miami.” In addition, they have an excellent coaching staff, a fantastic pipeline to the NFL Draft, and a fantastic culture. They generate a large number of draftees.

Charles is focused on developing players to the next level and producing talent at the receiving position. With former wide receiver Ricky Pearsall selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Billy Napier and the Gators recently offered yet another illustration of success in that area.

Charles has established a rapport with the UCF personnel and secured an official visit in June.

Charles remarked, “I really enjoy that school because they have excellent coaches and a lot of young players who come in and make an immediate impression.” “I feel like if I ever go there, I will be able to do the same thing, even better, because of the things they did in the receiving room last year and the receivers they have in the draft.”

Tony Williams, Charles’ classmate at Palm Beach Central and a four-star safety commit, is another factor that works in UCF’s favor. Williams is positioned in Charles’ ear, acting as a Knights recruiter.
