According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, the Hurricanes signed four-star safety Amari Wallace, adding to the Miami football program’s 2025 recruiting class.
According to 247 Sports, the 5-foot-11, 180-pound player from Miami Central High School in Miami, Florida, is regarded as the No. 22 player in the state, the No. 16 safety in the class, and the 187th best prospect in the country.
Wallace joins offensive tackles Jaden Wilkerson (who committed on Wednesday), Demetrius Campbell (who committed on Tuesday), cornerback Timothy Merritt, interior offensive lineman Takaylen Muex, tight ends Brock Schott and Luka Gilbert, running back Girard Pringle, linebacker Elijah Melendez, and quarterback Luke Nickel as Miami’s tenth commit and first safety in their 2025 class.
Before making an official visit last weekend, Wallace made two unofficial visits on July 29, 2023, and March 6, 2024. He committed a few days later, indicating that the Hurricanes had a significant impact on him during his OV.
Mario Cristobal, the head coach, has been working tirelessly to recruit the top high school players to the Miami Hurricane football program throughout the last two classes.
