Good News:Shea Patterson has Announced his return back to Michigan,’It’s going to be fun’
“I think my original plan was to come here and help the team out as much as I could,” Patterson, who transferred from Ole Miss a year ago, told The News. “The thoughts were maybe come out after one year, so I think there might have been some speculation there. At this point, I feel like everybody thinks I’m coming back. Excited to get that out there so they know.”
After leading the Wolverines to a 10-2 record and a berth in the New Year’s Six Peach Bowl versus Florida on December 29, Patterson was named the team’s best offensive player. After losing by a touchdown against Notre Dame in the season opener, Michigan went on to win ten straight games. However, they lost to Ohio State in the regular season finale and were eliminated from the Big Ten title game and the national playoffs. Patterson has been motivated.
