Aaron Wilson, a Texans beat reporter, disclosed the “other” harm Ryans mentioned on Tuesday. According to Wilson, Dell suffered meniscus damage and tore the LCL and MCL in his left knee. It was also made clear in Wilson’s report that Dell had dislocated his entire knee, not just the kneecap.

The second-year receiver, whose rookie season was cut short by a fractured fibula, has suffered a tragic injury. In 2023, Dell ended his season in Week 13 after suffering a fractured fibula 11 games into his breakthrough rookie campaign.

Then, in April, Dell was a bystander at a mass shooting in Florida and was shot in one leg. Three weeks after the incident, he was able to take part in Texans OTAs despite suffering a slight injury.

Dell made a full recovery from his gunshot wound and shattered fibula in time to play in Week 1 against the Texans. Before sustaining a knee injury on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs, he participated in 14 games.
