Shock:Former LSU receiver CJ Daniels finds new home in transfer portal
The transfer gateway provided a landing place for a former LSU football receiver. Hayes Fawcett of On3 claims that Daniels will play at Miami the following season by using his final year of eligibility. After four years at Liberty, he made his Tigers debut in 2024.

Daniels caught 148 passes for 2,434 yards and 21 touchdowns throughout his five-year career. He recorded 1,067 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in his final season at Liberty, making him a top transfer prospect.
Daniels played a big role in LSU’s offensive and was expected to do so again in 2024. He was a dangerous playmaker for Liberty, but in Baton Rouge, he became one of LSU’s best quick game
When the transfer portal opened last week, Daniels was among several LSU receivers who visited it. With star quarterback Cam Ward most certainly leaving for the NFL, he will contribute five years of experience to a Hurricanes club that is rebuilding.
