GOOD NEWS:Top-100 LB schedules Michigan visit after releasing final schools list
Two weeks ago, Michigan had a massive recruiting weekend planned for their clash with Texas in the top 10. The Wolverines are getting ready for another star-studded weekend in Ann Arbor after deciding not to welcome any major visitors during their game against Arkansas State last weekend.
We have responses from several early-season visitors and a confirmed USC guest that is essential to completing Michigan’s
The top target on the board, linebacker coach Brian Jean-Mary, announced his top six institutions on Monday. Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, and USC are the last schools Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng, the No. 72 overall recruit and eighth-ranked linebacker in 2025, said he will be considering.
This summer, Owusu-Boateng visited Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and USC on official business. At some point this fall, he intends to make a formal visit to Texas after attending Florida’s season-opening loss to Miami in Gainesville. He has previously indicated that a choice would probably be made close to the football season’s conclusion, and he might ultimately declare his commitment on Decembrame’s National Signing Day.
Owusu-Boateng is going to Ann Arbor this weekend to witness the Wolverines play another of his finalists, USC, in an unofficial visit. Owusu-Boateng is probably going to travel with Donovan Johnson and Kaden Strayhorn, two of his teammates from the IMG Academy (FL) in Michigan.
With Owusu-Boateng nearing the end of his recruitment, Jean-Mary will have a great chance to create some momentum. This season, Michigan’s linebackers have had trouble in coverage, particularly when facing Texas’ passing offense. However, if he choose Michigan, Jean-Mary may demonstrate to the gifted linebacker how he would be used and why he might have an immediate impact.
