Urgent:Kelvin Wasserman Rushed to the hospital in a Critical condition
After testing positive for COVID-19, the illness brought on by the new coronavirus, guitarist Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman of THE OFFSPRING reports the band canceled their shows in Denver and Salt Lake City earlier this month.
“I tested positive for Covid on the 27th of last month,” Noodles said on Twitter on Saturday, October 9.My wife and I were in Philadelphia and were scheduled to spend a few days in New York City.I decided to be tested before my trip because I had a mild cold.I tested positive, but my wife did not.
He went on, “I immediately reached out to management, the band, & crew.”“Being too cautious at the time, we canceled the Denver and SLC gigs.Others were tested as a result of my positive test.I will not reveal who received what.Therefore, please not ask me for anyone else’s personal information.It is up to the others if they wish to discuss their health.Isolating everyone until we are safe to be around is crucial.All of the people on our tour tested negative earlier this week.
Noodles remarked, “The majority of our tour party never fell ill.”“I never caught it from my wife, who slept next to me while I had it.I was ill for little more than two or three days.A painful throat and runny nose.My symptoms were virtually disappeared by Wednesday, the 29th, and I had no longer had a temperature.
Fortunately, everyone on our tour is vaccinated, but I still got it.That risk is always present, particularly with the Delta variety.I recovered
