In Straight Lies, a teenage girl who is wrongfully convicted of drug use is imprisoned against her will and forced to leave a government-sponsored drug recovery center that resembles a cult, while her father, a secret CIA agent, loses himself in politics to the point where he fails to recognize the danger his daughter faces.
